Temperament of Raven
Raven is a sweet girl who absolutely loves to be spoilt with cuddles on the sofa! She is laid back by nature, a go with the flow girl who especially loves her people and to please them. Raven is always the first to greet people and last to leave. In new situations Raven is able to relax and is always happy to meet new people or new dogs. She has met and played with dogs of all sizes and is very good at adjusting her play, she tends to follow the lead of the other household dogs in how she behaves in any given situation. Raven enjoyed the opportunity to meet and play with kids and loves to play with her toys. She especially loves chasing tug toys and pouncing on them!
Raven is an honest student during her 1x1 work. She works happily for food with spready cheese being a favourite! She is happy to train the same behaviours repetitively without growing bored as fast as the typical Mudi and retains what she was taught nicely. Raven is very much a people oriented puppy who thrives when being told how good of a job she is doing. She is a great all rounder, and would make a fantastic pet or sports prospect.
Raven showed an interest in the sheep especially when her mother Flirt joined her to show her the ropes. She followed Flirt's lead eagerly and was as usual very happy to be told she was doing a good job by her people. In her additional time here, we have worked on being able to ignore the sheep when they do not need moved, Raven can bypass the livestock without being tempted to bark or approach, yet when given permission to help work she is eager!
A Mudi is not a dog best suited to kennel life. They require stimulation and to be involved with their person; they are happiest when with them. Before considering to add a dog of this perfect breed into your home, we ask that you consider where will this dog be spending the majority of its day, and where will he/she be sleeping at night. We ask you to please FILL IN THE QUESTIONS IN BLUE at the bottom of this page when sending in an application email to reserve or purchase a puppy from us.
Choosing a Mudi is a long term commitment, approx. 15 years! Please ensure you are positive about your decision before adding a Mudi to your family.
Regerastace is located in Northern Ireland, we will help with transport when required, contact us for more information.
