October 7th & 8th 2017

During the Irish Kennel Clubs International shows there was only Rasta being shown while Red was given time to grow back some of her coat after deciding to blow it all at once after her season! He was awarded Green Star Dog (CAC), CACIB and the Best of Breed both days under our judges Mr J. Hindes and Mr P. Demetriou, many thanks to both for thinking so highly of my boy! Rasta will now have the winter off, along with being shown less frequently next year to give his coat time to grow and mature.


September 9th 2017

Today we attended Bangor and North Down Championship show. Only showing Rasta and Red, the results were as follows;

Dun Laoghaire Championship show, IrCh Bokorszeri Guba CJW'17 CW'17 under our judge Mr S. Hourihan was placed 1st Champion Dog with Excellent grading, Green Star (CAC) and the Best of Breed award. Koves-berci Betyar Rege "Red" without putting a foot wrong, 1st Junior Bitch, Green Star (CAC) and best of breed! This is her third point towards her Junior Championship Title, thank you to our judge Mr S. Hourihan for thinking so highly of both dogs!

 

 


July 29th 2017

After having had to miss the last two weeks of shows because of bitches in season and Rasta deciding to jump into a pond the day before Munster, the dogs returned to the scene today with consistent results. Bokorszeri Guba, Green Star dog and Best of Breed. Koves-berci Betyar Rege "Red", Green Star Bitch and Best of Breed. Thank you to our judge Mr Z. Silva from Portugal for his lovely compliments of both dogs and awarding them so highly!


July 8th 2017

It was a day for Rasta at the Irish Ladies Association Championship show today, where after giving a superb performance he was awarded Excellent, Intermediate Dog, Green Star Dog and complete the day with a Best of Breed placement under judge Mr G. Larkin!


July 1st 2017

Bray Championship show. Another success for the team, where together they were awarded two green stars and two best of breeds! Bokorszeri Guba - Excellent, Green Star Dog, and later Best of Breed from the Intermediate Class. Koves berci Betyar Rege "Red" from the puppy class was very promising, Green Star Bitch and the Best of Breed award! Thank you to our judges Mrs A. McNally in Komondor and Mr N. Burke in Mudi for thinking so highly of both dogs!

NEW JUNIOR CHAMPION

Somogyi Betyar Venusz earned the final grading in her Junior class she required to gain her Junior   Champion title today during Deise Championship show, under our judge Ms. M C. Walsh! Thank you to judges Ms H. Hegarty (Ireland), Mr F. Cochetti (Italy), Ms A. Albrigo (Ireland), Mr B. Skalin (Sweden) and Ms M C. Walsh for thinking so highly of our happy go lucky girl!


June 25th 2017

After a long drive across the entire of Ireland it was all made worthwhile at Deise Championship show! Quinn stole the day when she took the Green Star/CAC and Reserve Best of Breed, finishing her Junior Championship title! Rasta was Green Star /CAC Dog and BOB. Red was not to be outdone, winning Green Star Bitch/CAC, and the place of Best of Breed! Thank you to our judge Ms M C. Walsh (Ire) for her lovely compliments and time to go over each of the dogs!

NEW IRISH CHAMPION

Somogyi Betyar Venusz earned the final CAC she required to gain her Irish Championship title today during the BSD Group 1 & 2  Championship show, under respected judge Mr B. Skalin from Sweden! Thank you to judges Mrs M. Wendland (Ireland), Mr J. Opara (Poland), Mr R. Oliveria (Portugal), Ms H. Hegarty (Ireland), Mr F. Cochetti (Italy), Ms A. Albrigo (Ireland), and of course Mr B. Skalin (Sweden) for thinking so highly of our girl!

June 17th & 18th 2017

To start the weekend we had Swords International. IrCh Bokorszeri Guba CJW'17 CW'17 (IMP HUN) from the Intermediate class, took the Green Star, CACIB and later Best of Breed! KBB Rege "Red" while still in Puppy class, showed off to win the Green Star and Best of Breed! On day two, at the BSD Championship show Somogyi Betyar Venusz CJW'17 CW'17 was awarded the Bitch Green Star and Reserve Best of Breed. Only beaten by Rasta, who after winning his class and GS, lifted the BOB! Little Red was once again Green Star Bitch and Best of Breed. Thank you to our judges Mrs B. Muller (Switz) during Swords and Mr B. Skalin (Swe) during the BSD Group Championship for their fair judging of all dogs!


28th May 2017

Today during the Lisburn and District UK Open show where we were showing Rasta, IrCh Bokorszeri Guba (Imp Hun) CJW'17 CW'17 we received the placing of Best Open D/B, followed by a Best of Breed! Thank you to our judge Mr P. Keenan for taking the time to examine and thinking so highly of our dog.

During the Hibernian Championship show we were thrilled with our dogs performances. IrCh Bokorszeri Guba CJW'17 CW'17 (Imp Hun) was awarded Intermediate Dog, Green Star Dog (CAC) and later received the Best of Breed award under our judge Miss J. O'Connor (Ireland)! Koves-berci Betyar Rege "Red" from the Puppy class, won Puppy Bitch, Green Star (CAC) and the Best of Breed award. Thank you to our judge Miss J. O'Connor for thinking so highly of our dogs!

NEW IRISH CHAMPION

During the Combined Canine Club International show, alongside his first CACIB  Bokorszeri Guba was awarded the final Green Star/CAC he needed to gain the title of Irish Champion! Subject to IKC confirmation he will now be known as IrCh Bokorszeri Guba CJW'17 CW'17 (IMP HUN) A special thanks to all the judges, Mrs M. Wendland (Ire), Mr J. Opara (Pol), Mr R. Oliveria (Prt), Mrs H. Hegarty (Ire), Mr F. Cochetti (Ita), Mr C. Beattie (Ire) and a special thank you to Mr T. Pehar (Cro) for awarding him his final CAC required!


15th & 16th April 2017

Another great weekend for the showteam! Bokorszeri Guba was awarded Intermediate Dog, CAC, and the Best of Breed award on both days, earning himself his first CACIB during the International under respected judge Mr T. Pehar (Cro). Somogyi Betyar Venusz won her Junior class, CAC and Reserve BOB, while Koves-berci Betyar Rege "Red" took the place for Best Baby Puppy on the first day, and at exactly 6 months of age showed herself to Puppy Bitch, CAC and following it up with a Best of Breed! Thank you to our judges Mr T. Pehar and Ms A. Albrigo for thinking so highly of our dogs on another successful weekend of shows.

1st & 2nd April 2017

Another successful weekend for the team! On the Saturday we attended the Banbridge Championship show. The star of the day was Quinn, who was awarded Junior Bitch, Best Bitch, and the Best of Breed award! Rasta lifted the Intermediate Dog, BD, and Reserve BOB. Little Red enjoyed her day with Best Baby Puppy in Breed. Thank you to our judge Mr F. Cochetti from Italy for taking the time to go over our dogs!

On the Sunday, we attended the Portadown Championship Show. Rasta was awarded Intermediate dog, BD, and Best of Breed. Quinn won her Junior Class, while Red celebrated her 6th Best Baby Puppy in Breed.

The Regerastace show team attended the Minority Breeds Open show today. Rasta (Bokorszeri Guba CJW'17 CW'17 (Imp Hun)) was awarded Intermediate Dog, Best Dog, and later the Best of Breed award. Quinn (Somogyi Betyar Venusz CJW'17 CW'17 (imp Hun)) was Junior Bitch, Best Bitch, and reserve BOB. Red (Koves-berci Betyar Rege "Red" (Imp Hun)) showed herself a charm to win Best Baby Puppy in Breed. Thank you to our judge Mrs A. Small for thinking so highly of our dogs!

18th March 2017

The first of the International dog shows were held in Dublin over the weekend. During the IKC Celtic Winners International, Rasta was awarded Best Junior, Celtic Junior Winner 2017, BD, Celtic Winner 2017 and the Best of Breed award. Quinn showed herself well to being awarded Best Junior Bitch, Celtic Junior Winner 2017, BB, Celtic Winner 2017 and the Reserve BOB. Red was awarded Best Baby Puppy in Breed, all under our lovely judge Mrs H. Hegarty. Subject to IKC Confirmation both Komondors will now add CJW'17 and CW'17 after their names.

25th February 2017

Today we attended the All Terrier All Breed Open show with both Bokorszeri Guba, Somogyi Betyar Venusz, and the newest addition Koves-berci Betyar Rege "Red" who was attending her first show. Bokorszeri Guba was awarded Junior Dog, BD, and later the Best of Breed award. Somogyi Betyar Quinn showed herself to Junior Bitch, BB, and the reserve BOB. The star of the day was of course Red who after winning her Best Baby Puppy in Breed award, went on to be placed Third Best Baby Puppy in Show against strong competition! A promising future with this little one we hope!

February 13th 2017

We are proud to announce the newest addition to the team, and the first Mudi to join us here in Ireland! Koves-berci Betyar Rege "Red" (Imp Hun). After a long boat journey, and even longer drive she has settled in with ease, as if she has always been here. Thank you to her breeder Viktória Maczák for entrusting little Red to me, and to Anita Orvos for holding onto her from eight until sixteen weeks, ensuring she got all the attention, socialising and training she needed! We are looking forward to both a promising Show and Sports career with this little one.

28th & 29th January 2017

A great weekend of shows spent in great company! First on Saturday we attended the Irish Collie Club Group Open show with Bokorszeri Guba, where he was awarded Junior Dog, Best Dog, and Best of Breed under judge Miss A. Magill. On Sunday we headed back down to Dublin to attend the Dublin Cocker All Breed Open Show, again with Bokorszeri Guba. Always the performer, he showed himself to Junior Dog, Best Dog, BOB, and finished the day with a very nice Group 4 placing! Thanks to our judge Mr D. Nevin for his compliments and placings to our dog.

January 15th 2017

As the first show to start of the year, we attended Bulldog All Breeds Open show with only Bokorszeri Guba with us. He of course did us proud as usual, showing superbly to win his Junior Dog class, followed by Best Dog, and Best of Breed. As if this wasn't enough he later went on to be awarded Third place in the Group!

December 3rd 2016

During the Antrim Open show (uk) Rasta- Bokorszeri Guba was awarded 1st place in the Open Dog/Bitch class, followed with a successful win for Best Dog. While Quinn- Somogyi Betyar Venusz topped her Junior Dog/Bitch class, going on to win Best Bitch! In the challenge Bokorszeri Guba was awarded the place of Best of Breed, thank you to our judge Mrs S. Biggerstaff-Moore (UK) for her lovely compliments and thinking so highly of both of my dogs!

31st October 2016

 

During the Bullbreeds Championship show, Bokorszeri Guba awarded Junior Dog, Green Star Dog (CAC) and later the Best of Breed placing! This was his first point towards his Irish Championship title. Somogyi Betyar Venusz was not to be outdone, winning the Green Star dog out of Puppy class. Thank you to our judge Mrs M. Wendland for making both Komondor first Irish Championship show a great and memorable experience!

October 17th & 18th 2016

A successful weekend at the IKC International shows. First in the ring was Bokorszeri Guba, where he was awarded Junior Dog, CAC, and the BOB. He was too young to receive the CACIB' on offer. Somogyi Betyar Venusz, Puppy Bitch, CAC, and reserve BOB, thank you to our judge Mr J. Opara for taking the time to go over the Komondors! On the second day, under judge Mr R. Oliveria, the dogs were highly awarded for a second day. Bokorseri Guba, Junior Dog, CAC, and BOB. Somogyi Betyar Venusz, Puppy Bitch, CAC, and reserve BOB. Thank you to the judges, show organisers and friends for making it such an enjoyable weekend for both young dogs first International Dog show!

September 25th 2016

During the Belfast Dog Show Society Championship show at 11 months Rasta showed himself well during the Any Variety Not Separately Classified (AVNSC) class to win the Reserve Challenge Certificate under judge Mr K. Young (UK), while Quinn took over to win the Best AVNSC Puppy under the UK Kennel Club and UK Judge Mr K. Young. This was both young dogs first Championship show where they presented themselves well and did us as a team proud!

August 24th 2016

Rasta tonight passed his Bronze award Canine Good Citizen assessment, completing the test alongside other dogs in a calm controlled manner. Thank you to the Belfast Dog Club for organising the test, and Alex Clyde for being the examiner!

Our newest addition and hopeful, promising foundation bitch Somogyi Betyar Venusz, otherwise known as 'Quinn' has safely arrived in Northern Ireland. We welcome her onto Irish ground after her long journey from Hungary, many thanks to her wonderful breeder Melinda Talpai for entrusting this bitch into our care. Even on the first night, she has bonded well with the other dogs and is eager to investigate the house and gardens, we look forward to seeing how this young bitch continues to grow and develop, and her hopeful future success in shows!

During the Komondor Fesztivál 2016 in Hungary, Somogyi Betyar Venusz was shown to Best Baby Puppy Bitch with a Very Promising grading, later being awarded Best Baby Puppy in Show from a nice lineup! Thank you to her judge Dr. Jakkel Tamas for thinking so highly of her, and to her breeder Melinda Talpai for handling her during the show for us! Results

At his first UK Open show during the AVNSC (any variety not separately classified) class Bokorszeri Guba (Imp Hun) was awarded Reserve in Open class at only 8 months old of age, a great show for his first UK outing where he as always did the Rastace name proud. Together we also placed 3rd during Junior Handling.

During the Match night held by the Welsh Corgi Club Bokorszeri Guba (Imp Hun) was awarded Best Beaten dog in a strong line up, at only eight months of age he is coming along beautifully, looking forward to seeing how this young dog continues to mature.

After the long wait, all of the planning has finally paid of. I am pleased to announce the arrival of Bokorszeri Guba, Rasta to Northern Ireland! After his long drive from Hungary he has quickly made himself at home, already a very confident young dog. We would like to thank his breeder Arpad Lappints for entrusting us with this very promising large boy, and friend Melinda Talpai for her assistance. Bokorszeri Guba is the first Komondor, and the beginning of our affix of Rastace (later changed to Regerastace).
